چکیده
An equiatomic CrFeNiMn alloy was consolidated using pulsed electric current sintering (PECS) from gas atomized (GA) powder. A range of temperatures applied to determine its impact on the received microstructure and material properties. It found that phase structure disc shape sintered samples varied greatly depending temperature. According X-ray diffraction (XRD) surface contained a noticeable amount BCC while in middle sample cross sections no found. Ball milling powder prior for 25 h increased density hardness 98.3% 99% 200 HV 300 HV, respectively. At same time, ultimate tensile strength 700 MPa 1000 elongation at fracture decreased 40% 25%. The enhanced were attributed grain refinement caused by sintering. Milling resulted reduction size 5.7 μm 1.9 when 1100 °C 5 min. also affect deformation mechanisms. While prepared directly GA accommodated cell-forming process twinning, refined initial such an extent twinning suppressed. In summary, single can be achieved Sintering above results single-phase FCC excluding samples. starting increases decreases material. Decrease suppresses promotes dislocation cell formation. As system does not contain cobalt as alloying element it shows great promise used nuclear applications. showed good stability during testing undergoing transformation contrary metastable austenitic stainless steel where martensite transformations take place.

Dealloying Behaviours of an Equiatomic TiCu Alloy
The crystalline Ti50Cu50 ribbon was prepared by annealing its amorphous counterpart at 773K, 84K higher than its crystallization temperature. An equiatomic TiCu intermetallic phase dominated in the matrix coexisting with trace Ti2Cu phase segregated on the grain boundary. A bi-continuous nanoporous copper from tenths of nanometers to hundredths of nanometers was obtained after dealloying the cr...
متن کاملNear equiatomic FeCo alloys: constitution, mechanical and magnetic properties
Alloys based on the near-equiatomic FeCo offer exceptional magnetic properties. The equiatomic alloy was ‘invented’ in 1929, it offers a saturation hardly lower than that of the maximum obtained for Fe-0.35Co, with higher permeability and a lower coercivity than the latter. However, this alloy remained without industrial application, mainly because of its extreme brittleness. Only with the addi...

15 صفحه اولThermal Mechanical Processing Effects on Microstructure Evolution and Mechanical Properties of the Sintered Ti-22Al-25Nb Alloy
This work illustrates the effect of thermal mechanical processing parameters on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the Ti-22Al-25Nb alloy prepared by reactive sintering with element powders, consisting of O, B2 and Ti₃Al phases. Tensile and plane strain fracture toughness tests were carried out at room temperature to understand the mechanical behavior of the alloys and its correlat...
متن کاملEvolution of microstructures and mechanical properties of AZ31 magnesium alloy weldment with TIG and Pulsed TIG process
Magnesium alloys are very attractive materials owing to their properties of low density, high specific strength and stiffness, good castability, and weldability. AZ31 magnesium alloys in terms of weldability has better situation than the other, so it has more applications than other magnesium alloys. In this study, TIG and pulsed TIG welding method was used to welding the AZ31 alloy and finally...
